Oh how smashing. And may it lead to many more wonderful things.

Hi Hugh

Can't find an email address for you so I'm writing here (plus a little message on your donation page - I would have donated more but money is tight at the minute and I'm saving up for and amplifier so I can go busking).

I became so inspired about what you're doing when I read an article about you in the Daily Mail recently. I'm going back to university for a year at the end of September to do a Masters and having read the article about you I thought why not go and build a camp in a nearby forest while I'm at uni? So I've bought Ray Mears' Essential Bushcraft and I've investigated forests. Next step is to get permission to do it if that's necessary. Then I'll have to go up there and scout around for a good spot. I'm dead serious about doing this. It would be great to hear from you if you get this message. My email is: yourebreakingmyballs@hotmail.com

Good luck in Ecuador man. Oh, by the way, I've spent 6 months in Brazil, I speak Portuguese and I have some friends there, so let me know if these might be of any help. The bus is the preferred form of transport in South America - they are very comfortable and cheap.
