A sponsored live in the snow above a ski resort without a tent. I attempted this last year but inadvertantly got engaged and thus distracted but now I'm back, still engaged, and eager to give it another go. Currently I'm testing some kit and working out the logisics. There are various things to consider; how not to freeze to death, how to spend time with my fiance, how not to get carried away by an avalanche / yeti and how to not let this interfere with my job.

don't put witch hazel in your eyes though!
Deepest sympathies re bites. I have a tiny idea what it's like as I left the bedroom (a room in a house featuring a bed... oh never mind) window open and a starving family of mosquitos sucked my upper body dry. A dozen large red bites staggering across my shoulder like a drunken tattoist with a knitting needle and no ink... hmm, perhaps the metaphor needs a little more work.
Anyhoo, anti-histamine cream does little for them as just rubbing it in wakes them up, but a non-drowsy one-a-day allergy pill stops the worst of it, and saves a lot of time. I've been recommended very dilute tea-tree oil or witch hazel too, but haven't really needed them.
Tried E45 lotion? :( Itching is a bitch, hope you feel better soon...
